Some updates:
The kids have been taking their standardized tests... Brian had his before Spring Break and the others are all taking them now.
Brian was accepted into Honors Science for 9th grade, but not Honors American History. He was not suprised and said that the Science exam was too easy for an exam into Honors.
Something different to think about: possibly renting a house in Nixa to avoid all of the driving we've been doing - making it easier for the kids to participate in more of what they want to do, etc. We'd have to either rent or sell this house. If we could rent to our neighbor who's lease is up soon, that would be ideal. Some opportunities would be finding a place we could afford, in a neighborhood we like, and finding a place that also accepts pets (Buddha, Bear and Lucky).
I was supposed to start additional training at work today, but the manager from Albany could not make it due to some travel difficulties. We will begin our additional training tomorrow.
I tried Arbonne cosmetics for the first time a couple of weeks ago - tried the Re-9 facial set. MAN, that stuff is expensive, but it's really good. It felt good, smelled good, and I really enjoyed testing it out while I had the set. If only I could afford it now, right?
I will be taking a conference call this evening from a couple of Mary Kay reps. Nice people and not a bad business, but I'm just not aggressive enough, and if I am going to buy into anything - consulting, etc, I think I prefer Arbonne! Wow, that's a crazy statement. Never thought I would say something crazy like that, but it's interesting.
Garry is hunting for a new/different job. McAlister's just isn't working out. There is something about not getting recognized for the work you do, and having more and more work piled on top of you. Not fun and entirely too stressful.
Hmmm.. what else? Not much at the moment.
Welcome to my rambling world.
XOXO ~Joc
